We won’t tell you what’s inside the machine room — that’s deliberate. What we will tell you is exactly what question it solves and how the answer is proven.

One question, not many.

An order is a single mathematical question: which markers, at which size ratios, at which plies, on your table, produce these quantities with the least fabric? Markers and cut plans are chosen together. Solving them separately is how metres leak.

Your constraints are law.

Table length is a hard ceiling. Grain and rotation rules, ply limits, selvedge, shrinkage, fusing-block buffers, stripe and check repeats: the physics of your cutting room goes into the mathematics, not into a disclaimer. If a constraint costs fabric, you see that cost openly.

Measure every credible option.

Each style run examines hundreds of candidate ratios and plans, and each candidate is actually measured, not scored by a rule of thumb. Depth of search costs computer time, never your fabric.

Verify before it ships.

Every surviving marker is geometry-checked — overlap, boundary, length, rotation, flip, handedness — and the plan’s quantities are recounted from what was actually saved. A failing marker is dropped and logged, never shipped.
